Section targeting allows you to suggest sections of your content to Google Adsense Spiders. Adsense spiders will emphasize these sections when serving ads to your webpage. By using section targeting, you will see highly relevant ads served to content.
Section targeting can be implemented by placing a set of special comments before and after the content.
If you want Adsense spiders to emphasize on a particular section of your page, you will need to use the following special comments:
<!– google_ad_section_start –>
Your Main Content
<!– google_ad_section_end –>
You can also instruct the Adsense spiders to ignore particular sections of your page by placing the following set of comments:
<!– google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) –>
Your Content to ignore
<!– google_ad_section_end –>
Once your special comments are in place, you will see highly relevant ads served to you web pages within a few days. And highly relevant ads mean high CTR and high CTR means fatter checks every month.

Hi Chirag,
You can do this by simply editing your single post page from your theme editor.
(Presentation >> Theme Editor >>single Post).
search for the line:
< ?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
Place the first comment directly below it.
<!– google_ad_section_start –>
Search for the line:
< ?php the_content('Read the rest of this entry ยป'); ?>
Place the closing comment directly below it.
<!– google_ad_section_end –>
Save the file. Thats it !
