WidgetBucks has rolled out a new ad widget style, giving publishers two display options for each of the eight sizes offered. The new ads are noted with a “B” (for B Series) in the pull-down menu of the “Customize Your Widget” page, where publishers can also see a preview before selecting with option to choose. One “C Series” widget, offered in the 300×250 medium rectangle size and 660×330 larger size, includes a search box.

One modification not previously highlighted on this blog is the ability to adjust the product rotation interval, giving publishers the ability to modify the pace by which products are displayed in their widgets. The default rotation is 3 seconds, but can be set anywhere from 1 to 10 seconds per item.

When it comes to popular categories of WidgetBucks widgets, the top five are MP3 Players, Laptops, Game Consoles, Flat Panel Televisions and Cell Phones, respectively. And when it comes to ad sizes, here are the top four (in order by total units used): 160×600 wide skyscraper, 728×90 leaderboard, 300×250 medium rectangle, and 468×60 full banner.

Now you can Monetize your International Traffic with WidgetBucks!

Opportunities 1 Comment »

WidgetBucks, one of the new and promising entrants in the PPC market has announced that publishers can monetize their international traffic based upon impressions. They will serve CPC Ads for visitors from US and Canada and will serve CPM Ads for International visitors. Below is an excerpt from their email:

International CPM Ads

Here’s an upcoming feature. In early December, we will start serving CPM ads to the non-U.S./Canada traffic. This will give you revenue, per impression, for your site visitors who come from other countries. This is designed to help publishers who have a blend of traffic from a variety of countries.

Our system will do the geo-location for you, determining where the visitor is coming from. Then we’ll either show the regular pay-per-click widget (to visitors from the U.S. and Canada) or show an ad that pays per impression (to visitors from other countries). You’ll see a new column, called “CPM Revenue” in your earnings reports.

We’re also working on pay-per-click arrangements with global merchants, but those will take longer to implement. We’re glad to deliver a way for you to monetize almost all of your traffic in December.

WidgetBucks is one of the best add-on money making opportunities. If you haven’t signed up for WidgetBucks yet, do so now and get an instant $25 sign up BONUS!
